Nice haiku as usual, but damn those are scary numbers.

Kind of wild to think that shitposting on SN nets a higher salary than working in a sweatshop.

Thank you. Pretty terrifying putting it as sats (as per this mornings exchange rate). Bitcoin will help and we just need to get them here.

We do. Makes me think that ALL our efforts should be directed towards helping the most needy, for charitable and selfish reasons.

Charity always has those two sides. And for many it’s easy to give money but it removes you from the act of directly giving time or energy.
I have had some of my most rewarding life experiences as a volunteer in charity projects. In many cases the volunteers are as broken as the clients!

I have been slowly trying to break away from only passive donation. My wife does local meals on wheels (delivering meals to impoverished seniors) and we're starting soup kitchen work, but would like it to be bitcoin based.

Well done! The meal is only half the issue with meals-on-wheels… governments fractured our families and made us dependent on the state and it creates loneliness in the elderly which visits, like meals-on-wheels, can help alleviate.
Not sure where Bitcoin fits specifically….. I’ll tell you the story of the ‘contactless debit card machine homeless guy’ another time. Just trying to make his way and adopt a technology he though would help.
