I'm planning to establish a retail store in my community. The strange but interesting thing, is that I'll only accept Bitcoin payments.
The plan involves among other things, introducing Bitcoin to as many people as possible, some of whom will be P2P merchants to ensure the easy buying. I want the people to experience the true power of Bitcoin.
Since most of the people don't own smartphones and internet accessibility is unreliable, I've decided to Machankura, which enables people to make Bitcoin transactions using old feature phones.
This will be the first, if not one of the first businesses to accept Bitcoin payments, in my country. I know the risks of using custodial wallets, therefore it is recommended that the people should use non-custodial wallets to store their Bitcoins. Machankura Wallet will only be used for making and accepting payments, as it is custodial.
What can be the best solution for the people without internet connection to store their Bitcoin in a non-custodial way? I kindly ask for any suggestions.

Look into LNbits LNPoS offline terminal
- https://github.com/lnbits/lnbits/wiki/Tooling-&-Building-with-LNbits#lnpos-terminal
And with LNbits you can do much more things as a merchant (even being a LN bank for your customers). Here I wrote several guides:

Would love to know about this. Where will it be located? What are you selling? Will you host other merchants in the store?

Are paper wallets a way to store BTC in a non-custodial way? Do people still use them?

The paperwallets still works, but there are not the best option to do so.
I'll suggest to use BTC only software wallets, like Sparrow, Samourai or Electrum...
