I am worried about this. I will like to know how to detect id someone Nostr private Kay is compromised and what to do in this respect. I asked this because spring browser allows Nostr users to paate their nsec... before accessing some Nostr application which I don't find appropriate. So how can someone prevent this? Is there an application to examine nsec...security?

don't ever paste your nsec into random client apps

use a signing device

apps often ask for an nsec, for convenience (or laziness)

you should only do this for throwaway accounts

check out nsecbunker, dedicated signing apps, browser extensions, or ideally - hardware devices, if it's an account you actually want to keep secure.

Thanks for your response. But I think there should be an application build on Nostr client to show how secure someone's Nostr private key is. Just a suggestion though.

No!! I don't mean that. Actually I am worried about how most of Nostr clients applications are requesting for nsec...before login. Like Spring browser now, most of the Nostr applications require that to login, which I am not convenient with. That's why I post that discussion post. So I don't mean what you said.

Hopefully that's why I put this forward here. I really want to know what people think about this. Thanks
