I'd guess most of us have felt disappointment with our jobs at some point. I certainly have. If the job is never going to be something you find fulfilling and won't directly lead to anything fulfilling, then stay on the look out for something better.

The lowest hanging fruit when it comes to success is just showing up. Be present when stuff is going on. That's where opportunities pop up. Also, people notice who's around and who isn't. The best ability is availability, as they say.
