Also not an OG, and I commented about normie takes like yours being on the rise since Saylor and the "professional" class of person in bitcoin. It's really said that the caliber is falling e.g. you conflated bitcoin fixing things with a person being right about things, implicitly suggesting that the premise of fixing is untrue because a person may be wrong is highly disingenuous.
Will bitcoin fix you and make you smarter? Probably not, but it will make you poorer if you conduct yourself economically with stupidity.
Happy for you that you are so insulated from the problems of the world that you can afford to have such absurd beliefs and disregard for the significance of bitcoin. Must be nice.
Lol can't be what I'm not, just a normie who holds Bitcoin, why should I pretend im something else? Pretty transparent about that, as for insulating myself from the problems of the world, how did you figure that?

Because when you encounter a deep problem in the world and you understand that it didn't have to be that way, but was made that way because of fiat, you gain a deeper appreciation for bitcoin. And I don't mean noticing some theoretical thing, I mean having it impact you directly.

Well said. Can you give an example from your own experience?

Most people don't like hearing the examples I have to share

A recent example for me is the sadness I would feel after being outcast on reddit for the n:th time for saying that a spade is a spade. Karma on reddit is fiat social points, can be taken away at any moment, manipulated, botted. If I zap you on stacker, then i have given you true social points. There is no cheating that.
Another example is when I (this winter) worked for a company as their blockchain senior dev, in the project of making NFTs (ethereum) to be used as entry-tickets to their digital services. And realizing that nobody there cared about making things fair. Making our customers a system that was trustless. They just wanted to shill NFTs hoping they were gonna gain a buck. So I quit. Fuck ethereum and aristocratic "proof of stake".
