This is the final week where a rebuy can still be used after a loss to remain in the game for week 9 and this is relevant because amazingly @nifty has yet to use the rebuy. This is unexpected and I did not embed an advantage into the rules for not using the rebuy v.s those that had as I wanted to limit the complexity of tiebreakers. It will be interesting to see if this affects Nifty's strategy this week.

Vegas WTF. The Packers just lost to the worst team in the NFL (Broncos) and the Vikings just beat the best team in the NFL (9ers) and Vegas has them at evens!!! That's insane.

I really like the Vikings stadium. Seems like a cool atmosphere. I had a momentary thought about pissing off my wife and flying to Minny for last night's game. I have never been to a 49ers game. I went to a Giants game when I was in SF around 10 years ago but 49ers season hadn't started and they so rarely come to Buffalo (would be the closest trip for me) and I refuse to go to any Bills game after November (no interest in driving in the snow for 3 plus hours to sit in the freezing cold for 3 hours to then drive back in the snow for 3 plus hours). I thought about going to Pittsburgh for the opener this year. Have been there for baseball games in the past and really like it there but the tickets were so expensive that I decided against it. I guess I will have to wait until the 49ers go back to Detroit (around 5 hours drive for me).
Apparently US Bank stadium is a really great stadium. I've not been... It's a long way for me. But I'd like to one day.
Have the Vikings played one of the Euro games in the past?
Yeah last year they played the aints in London. It was a wicked game and I got to go see it at Tottenham. That was the game Lewis cine got his leg injured. And the kick at the end was missed with the double doink. Great atmosphere to be a part of.
