I have no problem with soft forks - quite the opposite: let people play by all rules that they want as long as they are interoperable.

Also how nodes forward messages, how Miners include transactions etc. has NEVER been according to protocol. We have played by compatible rules from the very beginning.

But I think the community is quite sceptical toward everything hard fork.
