@k00b @Murch Can we have a SN bot for Bitcoin Stack Exchange posts, or some kind of integration / SN sub ?

Will be nice to reward the gigantic work that all those contributors are doing on Bitcoin stackExchange and I think the nice and easy way will be on SN.
https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/users

That would be pretty cool.

An RSS feed with the newest questions can be found here: https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/feeds

Unfortunately, we get a lot of spam and low-quality questions, so I wouldn’t recommend cross-posting every new question post. I was trying to figure out whether there is a way to get an rss feed of only questions with at least three upvotes, but while I can produce a search to that end, I haven’t found a way to turn that into a feed, yet.

Perhaps if you’d run this search repeatedly and then post items once they make these search result, you’d be able to achieve such an effect.

Edit:
Just found What other hidden or inobvious RSS feeds are available on Stack Exchange and its sites?. Perhaps
https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/feeds/hot
would be useful in this endeavor.

Or did you mean a feed of the posts that specific users are making? That would be easy, mine is for example: https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/feeds/user/5406/recent

@k00b: I have bug report, I posted below line in a URL, but after submitting my text field input the URL was modified.

Original:
https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/search?tab=newest&q=is%3aq%20score%3a3&searchOn=3

(Edit:) After posting the URL is modified to:
https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/search?tab=newest&q=is%3aq%20score%3a3&searchOn=3

Weird. Looks like it's getting escaped. I made a GH issue for it.

reply

Mh, just realized that the RSS feed for my account also includes comments, it’s not just questions and answers.

This is a great idea!

Tbh, I don't get what this bot should do. Cross-post questions and answers to SN? But then the zaps would go to the bot.

Or do you mean something similar like the original idea of @hn with an option to pay out the sats to the corresponding users on StackExchange after some proof?

reply

yes, sats should go to the contributors.
I don't know exactly how this could be done, but I would love to see a btc stack Q&A on SN, with all those good experienced people answering.
