I never know whether to be happy or sad when a feature results in few net lines of code added.
On one hand it implies the code was bloated before. On the other it implies functionality was added without accruing new code debt.

Most people don't change throughout their lives. If we are who we are, I want to be change.
Read https://livingintheprivate.blogspot.com/ and you will be changed.
Two Venezuelan female migrants with children knocked on my door today. They had a sign in English asking for anything I can give them. With my broken Spanish I was able to communicate with them and confirmed their need for help. So I gave them some snacks, canned goods, food, and $20
This is the first time in my life I ever experienced something like this. Situations like this makes me think Bitcoin isnβt ready for such transactions.
I wish them the best.
Never negotiate with terrorists.
Never feed beggars.
Never "help" migrants.
You are making it worse than you think by helping these.
I know that sounds harsh but this is the plain truth.
It is harsh. Not sure if I have the stomach to not give when I have so much and people can barley eat.
But I get your angle they gotta produce to consume just like I do

Yeah that is true. Maybe then I can ask them to do work to earn it

New roof and itβs leaking into the house = not a good day!
Shame, I feel your pain, I know what ot is like to have a leaky roof, it is not nice especially in winter.
That sucks. Our roof is closing in on the end of it's expected lifetime and we're thinking about moving instead of dealing with it (and the other major household items that are nearing their demise).
like fiat...
stop living in a fiat world.
Step away
I need a roof over my head that preferably doesnβt leak for shelter, but a Bitcoin miner can keep you warm, my mortgage co doesnβt accept Bitcoin and I just stack more daily and HODL it.
Does anyone else when they read Geyser, think Gensler? Or just me? π

Just drinking my morning coffee under the tropical sun with my dog Sato by my side. Have a good day everyone!
Is that a Japanese name?
Yup!
That's awesome. Are you Japanese or are you a fan of the culture?
Just a fan o some guy called Satoshi
Lol, ok. I guess the dogs last name is Shi? ;)
Spot on! Lol
Woke up like past 5 this morning. Had a cup O Joe, and started stacking sats. Didn't make much for the day but least had a good time. Oh and lost my hat somewhere.
There is an incredible children's book about a bear who loses his hat
https://m.stacker.news/4406
My boys love this one!
Sorry to hear about you losing your hat. Don't worry, it will turn up again when you least expect it. Keep stacking those sats!
Thanks. Will do. Been a good day stacking sats. Enjoy yours.
You too buddy. Enjoy.

Love it, steady progress! Anything above 0 compounds. Never let ideal get in the way of progress.

My routine thus far is to cycle into work, and do the pushups in the disabled toilet where I get changed.
I hope nobody IRL finds out I'm working out in the loo.
Good job! And Iβm guessing itβs a rainy day where you are.
Yes, but it was the right kind of rain. Light drizzle, mild temperature, and a nice cycle along the coast.

Lol. Doesn't matter if they find out. They won't dare to have a problem with the __@_'-' working out in the loo.

Seems things in the saloon are a bit tame on hump day compared to the weekend!
Things get very exciting at Bitcoin Grove in Miami, as we start to fill in the new space and make it a home. Yesterday we brought a large wooden table that can be used for conferences or other purposes. The new spot has a better location and much easier parking. Our neighbors also seem friendlier. This morning it will host the first meeting of Miami's Bitcoin Design Club at 8am. I'll be at work, but I wish them a fruitful meeting.
https://meetu.ps/e/MCL7W/WlcHd/i
I started planning a regular, in-person Bitcoin for Beginners session to begin in the near future, maybe January, which will start with invitation only and after we feel confident in our methodology we can open it up to the general public.
I hope everyone has a great day.
Whatever you do, don't use UV lights at the event.
Idiots at this event wasn't so lucky. They got exposed to UV rays at the Bored 'Blind' Yacht Club and almost went blind.

This is cool.
Do you have regular new nocoiners coming to those meetups?
Miami has a few different meetups. Bitcoin brunch is the only weekly meetup and I have met many pre-coiners. Bitcoin Grove is still relatively new so we haven't had much opportunity to engage the general public. Some members don't want to engage the public at all, or have different levels to which they are willing to be a face of bitcoin.
I wake up in full daylight now. One good thing about the stupid time change.
Totally. I have been waking up at ~5:20 multiple mornings in a row. At least today I managed to go back to sleep until 7.
Pitch black when I wake and the Sun sets before dinner
If you want my advice: have dinner in the morning when the sun rises ;)
Brilliant!
Lmao. I'm glad you liked the suggestion.
Lol. I guess you're not a vampire. That's a relieve, Lol.
I wake up in a beautiful sunlight. after 3 weeks of intensive rain, finally I have some nice sunny days. I hope will be like that for few days.
Does that mean you will be off building for a few days?
No, I can't go to my citadel, is full of snow at that altitude now.
But here in the village is still nice.
With these sunny days, is time to cut some more wood (winter is coming fast this year) and collect some blueberries.
Fun fact about me: I've never seen or experienced snow before. We do experience snowy months but in the mountains and that's nowhere near where I live. I have a feeling I won't really enjoy the experience but I would like to experience snow just once in my life.
snow is nice, but sometimes is a nightmare...
I can imagine.
Just one more month and then we are officially entering the summer season. Not looking forward to the hot African weather.
A wise sagelike snail once told me: stack sats.

Lmfao. Good luck with that.
