I forgot last week, so first things first let me give a shout out to Meta Music Monday's. Check out @Public_N_M_E's post for some great music conversation.
A bit of a wild day of NFL games yesterday with a number of them coming down to game winning field goals. It was the kicker's day to shine in a number of places. Good to see the 49ers back on track and looking like a top team again after the bye. How about the Texans and CJ Stroud? Rookie of the year is pretty much locked up but he has also moved into the top 10 for MVP odds. Incredible. If this keeps up DeMeco Ryans has to be right up there with Dan Campbell for coach of the year.
With the way the Jets D is playing one has to wonder what might have been if Rodgers didn't get hurt. Bills have been inconsistent and Miami can't seem to duplicate their eye popping point totals against good teams. Tough one for Jets fans this year.
Our NFL survivor pool is down to two. I will post the week 11 matchups tomorrow. Will this be the week we crown a winner?
I will jump on SN for a bit during Monday night football tonight if anyone is around and payout the weekly pick em prize after the game. If you haven't done so yet, don't forget to get your picks in for Tuesday's NBA in-season tournament games. Check out @Undisciplined's post here #312497
And lastly, about a month ago I posted about the Perth Heat (the bitcoin baseball team from Australia) and how I was going to try and bring some attention to their season on the Stacker Sports posts. Their first game is Thursday Nov. 16, so Wednesday's post will be a season primer for the Heat.
Sats for all.
Cheers, GR
I'm not sure exactly what to make of the Vikings and Saints right now. I might actually be more inclined to bet on the Saints if they roll with Jameis. Is Dobbs actually awesome or are teams going to figure him out?
So far, Raider Nation couldn't be more thrilled with our new regime. These guys are fun to watch again and they're easy to root for.

Ref the Vikings... I still don't know if we're contenders or pretenders but it's a hell of an entertaining ride.

I hope it's for real. It's always nice to have stories like that.
reply
Yeah, I'm enjoying watching your raiders aswell now. They're playing fun football which is good.
reply
Yes, The Jets D was playing great but Raiders really wore them down with the power run game in the second half. Didn't help that the Jets O couldn't get much going and give the D a rest.
Tough schedule ahead rest of the way though. Gonna be tough to sneak into the playoffs.

Miami will be a good test, since they've destroyed bad teams and floundered against good teams. The only QB who played better than Aidan against the Jets was Mahomes and that was Crosby's worst game of the season. We're particularly excited about the new OC's play calling.

Zach Wilson throwing an INT was the last leg I needed in a parlay
reply
So even though the Jets lost, you won. Not bad.
reply
I was feeling pretty confident on the last drive I was coming out ahead. Seen enough Jets games and ZW to not sweat it.

Not too upset about the Packers losing, they looked improved overall on offense which is all I'm looking for at this point. The defense, especially the run game looks atrocious (3.6 yards before contact ain't good). Our draft position is looking good at least. The Steelers were gifted that win because of a terrible call on a backwards pass that was called an incompletion and somehow upheld upon review which is just plain to see. The NFLs worst call since the Fail Mary probably. It's a defensive TD for the Packers and at worst a first and goal. We lost by 4... Perhaps I don't watch sports news/podcasts enough, but I certainly hope this is talked about!

Cheers GR. I almost forgot this week! Stroud looks legit!
