Alright who kidnapped the Buffalo Bills and replaced them with these chumps? It's unfortunate to see. I have been a 49ers fan since the first NFL game I watched way back in 1989 (actually 1990 because it was the superbowl, but as my son would say "long long ago in the way back when") but living in Toronto for so many years I always also rooted for the Bills with them being the closest thing to a home team. I went to all the Bills in Toronto series games and have a lot of friends who are Bills fans. I hope they get it turned around.

The Bills might be down in the dumps but our resident Meta Music Monday master @Public_N_M_E is riding high coming off another Vikings win and a victory of his own in taking home the weekly pick 'em championship with a dominant 3/3. He implied his picks were "having a little fun" so I am not sure if that was extreme confidence or a better to be lucky than good situation.

NBA in-season tournament matchups tonight. Speaking of the NBA, the Raptors are playing some of the most fun basketball they have played in years. Down 23 last night to the lowly Wizards and they come back to win by 4. I am not sure many really good basketball teams would be down by 23 to the Wizards but at least it was exciting.

There are two players left in our NFL Survivor Pool. I will have the games for week 11 posted shortly. We have to come up with something for the playoffs. Let me know if you guys have any ideas.

I didn't realize it was going to be a lifetime commitment when I took it on. Haha. I thought we would all be out by week 5.

Since the NBA survivor pool is double elimination, how should we deal with someone forgetting to pick a team?

It could be similar to what we did for the late joiner, they lose the week and forfeit tie-breakers.

Alternatively, and perhaps more fun, we could pick the Grizzlies for them (or whoever the worst available team is).

Haha. I vote for giving them the team with the worst record playing that day. That's pretty fun. I think as long as it doesn't permit them to win the pool it's ok.
