Hehe thanks, yes it is. Snow will be back soon enough and she'll chase a lot of thrown snow balls when it does! Speaking of, I need to get another pair of gloves- they always get too wet after a good snow throwing session.
Don't forget to get some paw gloves for the dog as well. Lol.
I see some dogs wearing shoes now. If I had a dog I would buy it some sneakers.

Hahah, her breed is a finnish lapphund, so we rarely use shoes for her apart when she pulls us on skiis.

Great looking dog. Is she the dog you do agility with?

Thanks haha, that cuteness lets her get away with a lot of shenanigans... and yes it's the agility dog! She's very good at it but always gets too excited during competitions to almost always being disqualified. I don't mind, we're just doing something fun together.

I used to do Schutzhund with my old American Bulldog. We had fun, but she was terrible at bite work. She was a lover, not a fighter.

Woah, that sport just seems wild to me! Haha, well we get the dog we get - and who doesn't want a cuddle bug?
I practice canicross with my dog but she hates it. Running without chasing anything is just not fun. On skiis it works for some reason - when she's in the mood. But when we run canicross she just barks angrily at me until she either gives up or gets me to stop. I got an active breed because I wanted a running partner 😅

Schutzhund is a great training regimen. It's not rea protection training, imo. The "bite work" is choreographed. Its just a great system to train a dog. The only reason I did it was because of my dog's breed. I trained dogs my whole life without an issue, but American Bulldogs have a reputation (dog racism) and we had a young child. It turns out that both my dog and I enjoyed the training. It really wasn't necessary, though, because she was the smartest, sweetest, most stable dog I ever owned.

That's a cute pup. She seems rather small to be pulling you on skiis. Do you mean, your wearing skiis and she pulls you or she pulling you while sitting in a skii, I don't know what that's called.

She's 21 kg and a lot of muscle so she pulls just fine hehe.
I think its called skijoring?
