I've been wondering if building something akin to the old message boards of yore was possible on Nostr. I still regularly lurk/post in message boards where the topic is bumped to the top whenever a reply is posted.

The motivation for this is absolutely charming. The only forums I really participated in before HN were college entrance forums. Forums have an ambiance that friend and follow based social media networks totally lack.
