With comming EU attack on private usage of Bitcoin, should we be worried Acinq - company behind Phoenix, based in Paris, France, will start to snitch on its users to EU commie officials? If not, why not?
I personally don't give a shit what EU pliticians say or do. Acinq, in order to make those "recommendations" enforceable will have to make Phoenix KYC. Right now you can easily install the app from github anonymously and do whatevef you want.
Would they be able to know all your txs? Yes, but nothing too much to worry. Their LSP node can monitor the txs, can filter them, but not really know exactly who to who is sending sats. Is almost impossible. User can anytime close all channels and recover funds in onchain using Electrum if is about a such case. So no danger of losing funds.
The only concern is to make it KYC.

Its possible to snitch without KYC...or make shotgun-KYC. It works super badly with TOR so I dont (many dont), so IP is leaking. They know the destination of each payment, no?

mmmm, not really. How do I explain it... You are making me to reveal some secret here in plain sight and I know for a fact that some "bad actors" are reading.
