With properties like:
- E-ink display
- usb, sd card for transferring files
- usable without account and wifi
- customizable (font size, etc.)
- buyable with Bitcoin a plus
So far I unfortunately only encountered spy or crappy readers out there :-(

My current ebook reader "Krüger&Matz Library 4" belongs to the second category: crappy. It always displays the date and some kind of ebook type on every page; such useless information when reading a book. At least you can use it offline.

I've bought these, used - Amazon Kindle D01100 4th Gen. I transfer books with a cable, and don't login to wifi. Works great.
