I think these solutions are good for merchants from some aspects:

LN liquidity management "nightmare", for a small business
more privacy in receiving BTC, the payment processor act as a decoy/ firewall. Merchants can later move his BTC into multiple private wallets, without revealing to the payer the final destination, in the moment of the payment. Having a full public node, as a merchant, facing directly the payers, can reveal more information about your node, liquidity etc.
easy to onboard and start accepting BTC
conversion into fiat if is necessary (some merchants still pay bills in fiat)
multiple levels of users for the same account, so employees would not have access to move funds out, only receive.

Map is important. I hope it will be the best advertising method, soon ;)
