In reference to a recent post (https://twitter.com/Walletano/status/1725422950344491200), it appears that the concept of receiving sats for reading ads is well-received by the community. Notably, there wasn't a single person who responded negatively to the idea.
Now, the subsequent question arises: "Is a 1 sat payment worth the time to read a notification?" This query is pertinent given the prevailing trend that wallets may cease displaying notifications with payments of 1 sat or below, a measure aimed at preventing users from receiving an influx of small, potentially bothersome payments.
Our proposed approach aims to elevate this concept for the benefit of both users and advertisers:
Engaging Campaigns: Advertisers can create visually appealing campaigns enriched with elements such as images, video links, and additional incentives. Two-tier Payment Structure: Advertisers specify two amounts per user: the notification amount (typically less than 5 sats) and the visualization amount (50+ sats). Unique Claim URLs: Users receive the notification amount along with a message in their wallets, for instance, "BurgerKing sent you 100 sats! Claim at satsforads.net/c/uniqueforuser." Each lightning address is assigned a unique claim URL (e.g., satsforads.net/c/uniqueforuser1, satsforads.net/c/uniqueforuser2). Claiming Visualization Sats: Users click on the link, view the ad, and find another unique link on that page to claim the visualization sats. Once claimed, the link for visualization sats becomes inactive.
This approach offers advantages for everyone involved:
Increased Rewards for Users: Users stand to gain significantly more sats (10x, 20x) with minimal effort compared to the current model. Assured Engagement for Advertisers: Advertisers pay a higher amount but can be confident that their message or ad is not just delivered but genuinely viewed. They only pay the visualization sats after the user engages with the ad.
This is not yet implemented but we are already working on it. We welcome your thoughts and opinions on this innovative approach.

I think it’s a fantastic idea. Turn notifications off if it’s that big a hassle. 1 sat = 1 sat ~> bitcoins@zbd.gg
