AWESOME!!!!
Protip for users: Don't put your name on your Nostr account like I did and upload torrents... All users of this should make a dedicated, anonymous Nostr profile just for this kind of activity.
Next up I'd like to see: Pay-to-Seed. Upload something and put a sats-denominated bounty on it so that others will seed a copy of your file in order to get the sats you've loaded up. Simply requires a timelock contract per upload.

Yea, it's common to use "proxys" to avoid the take down order by some governments to some sites, with this, you could have many proxys to share magnet links.

Both torrents and nostr don't allow uploading to a centralized server... Because they are both user-to-user protocols.

Is there maybe a "complete idiots guide to torrents" that you could share? It seems interesting, I know very little about it though.

This is the coolest thing I've ever seen built on top of Nostr, but I'm sure cooler things are to come.

Sharing magnet links via Nostr is good, since it eliminates the centralization of websites like Pirate Bay.
The next major problem to address the fact that trackers expose all users in the swarm, especially if an ISP gets access. I see two possibilities: (a) organize private trackers via Nostr, using zaps and web-of-trust for admission. Or (b) somehow eliminate per-torrent trackers entirely, perhaps through a mega-swarm, in which users seed/leech more torrents than what they actually want (I am not sure how this would work, so it might not work, but it might be worth investigating).

Great stuff, bookmarked.
Would be nice to browse the categories. The button Import from magnet doesn't seem to do anything. Only user level experience with bittorrent, no idea what a magnet link actually is ;-)
