I learned the unseasoned wood lesson years ago. Some of the wood we're burning now has been sitting out in the woodshed for three years. We have a rotation worked out.

I can't believe there isn't more regulation here. Just about everyone in my part of the county at least supplements with wood heat. I know a few guys who only heat with wood all winter.
