Telegram has undoubtedly become one of the most used applications in recent years, with an incredible range of options and facilities for everyone. Personally, it's my Swiss Army knife for everything, from writing to friends, learning about anything, listening to music, watching videos, to exchanging Bitcoin.
Telegram, in addition to channels and groups, has some little friends called "bots", which, as their name suggests, are programs that make our lives easier in our day-to-day tasks.
One of these bots is: https://t.me/myloopoutbot which allows us to exchange Bitcoin Lightning to Onchain, without leaving Telegram. Its creator is https://t.me/Hirokazu88 who has created this marvel of a bot.
To make use of it, all you have to do is click on start bot and you get a small but effective help:
Welcome to myloop bot !!!
Here you can swap Bitcoin LN⚡️ to Bitcoin onchain
To start a new swap, use the command:
➡️/loopout amount_sats onchain_address onchain_fee_sats_per_vbyte where:
💰amount_sats: The amount of sats you want to receive onchain
⛓onchain_address: Your onchain bitcoin address where you will receive your sats
onchain_fee_sats_per_vbyte: The fee in sats/vbyte used in the transaction to send you your sats
For example:
➡️/loopout 100000 bc1qpr9zlcw2efuja66wde9ma5cx5hj2qjgk2guwrg 2 This command will return you an invoice that you can pay over LN⚡️
🆕NEW: You can use the command /loopout2 instead of /loopout to get an invoice with the exact amount that you specified
Current fee is 0.3% (3000 ppm) + onchain_fees
As you can see, it is very easy to carry out the exchange operation. Always remember to be aware of the fees of the moment so that our transaction does not get "stuck".
If you have questions or want to learn more about the bot or the project, I encourage you to join their support group (https://t.me/+rqwdS33pH0oxNTk0) or write directly to the developer, they will be more than happy and willing to help you.
Have you used a similar bot on Telegram? Let me know in the comments. I read you and we learn together!
