Woodrow Wilson was elected on the promise that he'd keep the US out of WW1; he broke that promise as soon as he could.
Bush said that nation-building was unacceptable; he began nation-building as soon as possible in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Obama promised to end the war in Iraq; he never did that, instead orchestrating a surge of troops greater than Bush's surge.
Andrew Yang keeps promising to get UBI passed, despite UBI being obviously impossible in America.
Numerous claims by Republicans that they will end illegal immigration and secure the southern border; the southern wall remains unfinished; most illegal immigrants are VISA overstays but ending the VISA program isn't even suggested.
Numerous claims by Democrats that they will defeat racism; yet racism is higher than ever. Worse, Democrats support wars that murder untold numbers of poor people, who the Federal government would classify as minorities if they were in the US.
