They ended QE in March I believe. Right now they are suck at whether they should tank the economy, thus the demand to drive down inflation, or they should just keep going at an extended period of moderate high level of inflation.
I honestly think they should do the latter, given they were constantly worried about deflation risk (and almost there) for the past decade.

Temporary fluctuations. We all know where this is going to be in 20 years - nobody knows exactly where it will be in 1-2 years.
