Custodial is for lunch money..
One does not carry his wage in a wallet everyday.. 
But one assumes we talk about where we hold.. Holding on a custodial defeats the bitcoin purpose

Do you prefer Custodial or Non Custodial wallets? and Why?

maybe some want custodial, for some reasons, maybe paying for something fast.
For me, for example, I use Custodial wallets for Bitcoin new comers, easier and sometimes, these wallets have better UX.
And I use non custodial for saving and stuff. So basically I use both types of wallets
