Howdy there, partner! Welcome on into the Stacker Saloon.
Saddle on up to a stool and spill the beans about your day, fire away with them questions, or let loose and give us the lowdown on your wild and woolly life. We're all ears, so don't hold back!
We're open round the clock, so mosey on in whenever you please!
Just had interview and crossed the fingers i passed it and i was supposed to have one now, but the person did not call me :(
Starting to realize modern society for lack of a better term is a coincidence and I believe we have passed the point of no return and we will have to experience life how it used to be or worse before we can achieve something better again as a species. This probably wont help anyone. But low tech may be the future. Still probably wont help anyone saying this. But having a low tech hobby could be liberating. Maybe thats the thought for today. Get a low tech hobby and/or skill however big or small.
For example, can you forage firewood? Its not as simple as it sounds and you can save yourself some trial and error by researching with the means you have available TODAY. Spoiler: Fallen logs sitting on the ground are bad for firewood. It should be dead, free standing or leaning and essentially dried by the wind.
Can you forage plants? Do you know which ones in your area you can rely on in an emergency? Find out today. Spoiler: Dandelions may be safe to eat in an emergency.
Thank you for reading and have a nice day.

I think the human race is a failure from the get-go, we've managed to get to where we are through greed and profiteering off of others and while doing so turning the planet into a shit hole of waste and toxins.
We can't even live in harmony with our own species, let alone the many other species and life forms inhabiting this planet. It's always a "What can I get out of this" which, in the end, screws everyone.

It's weird but I still feel like SN only has 10 stackers and they're all using hundreds of alts. When does that go away?

Picking up some sushi rolls. Tuna Salmon and eel
reply
Eel is great but I can never tell if it's the sweet ass sauce that I like or the eel itself.
One of my favorite roll discoveries recently is salmon skin. Super fatty and cheap.
reply
I always find it interesting that Salmon was only relatively recently introduced to Japanese cuisine... definitely prefer salmon over tuna in sushi/sashimi.

Day 2 of posting mining earnings from the day before: 894 sats! Running total: 1,752 sats!

I remembered someone said "at this rate of mining earnings why not just shitposting in SN" ๐Ÿ˜‚
reply
Yea it's definitely not a lot. My mining rig runs hands-free in the background, while SN requires active engagement, which I can't always do! :)

Good morning everyone!! Wednesday is here and that means we're at the middle of the week, let us reflect on how our strategy is working, are we getting our desired results? Or does my strategy needs more tweaking? Just make sure your objective is on sight, one goal at a time will get to your bigger goal. So stay focused, motivated and enjoy the ride, learn from it. I wish you all an incredible Wednesday, may it be filled with success, profit and love. Remember that you're important and I'm proud of you, we've got this my friend, be well and stay frosty!!

I don't really trust any device with a camera or microphone that's connected to the internet. I would recommend your friends switching off their Wi-Fi not in use. Perhaps they can download an app that mutes the microphone when not in use.

kinda interesting to think about what happened - people used to build their own houses decorated with beautiful flowers and colors; Now everywhere is building the SAME communist buildings, and guess what is the most crazy part? People working their ass off so to live in those tiny and centralized control apartments.
this one is for @nemo click, click, click and zoom!

Centralized control apartments? Haha I never thought about it in that way. There is simply too many humans. No space for everyone having a beautiful house with flowers and garden. Same way with cemeteries. Now there are vertical ugly cemeteries like skycrapers.
reply
Centralized control heating, water and electricity ๐Ÿ‘€ food from supplychain too.
There is simply too many humans. No space for everyone having a beautiful house with flowers and garden.
I feel like many people are being put into the cities, mostly due to work, there are still many empty space close to mountains and barely anyone live there.
reply
Agreed. Drive across the western U.S. states if you want to see wide open spaces. Same with giant swaths of Asia, Africa, Australia. Western Europe, I agree, is getting a bit crowded.
reply
Ah yes. I was thinking about the space in the cities that we already have. Some cities have no other choice but to expand vertically. In places where there is space, we still don't see those apartment buildings.
But there are always exceptions. Like Whittier in Alaska, in the mountains... yet, the entire town is in one centralized building.
reply
Whittier is one of the most spectacularly corrupt and dysfunctional towns you could ever find.
reply
I just watched a little YouTube documentary on Whittier. I think now they have two apartment buildings, but the one you showed has most of the residents and all the stores. Alaska is a crazy place.

I'm going around the house leaving messages on the back of used Christmas card envelopes with a Sharpie in each room to remind me to cancel my Amazon Prime trial. It really sucks to forget and give me less sats and Jeff more $$$s.
But I did see an article recently that Saylor was invited to Bezos' fiancรฉe's birthday party recently. So he's probably stacking too...

I think it's time you join the Strawhat Pirates. We don't pay for Amazon Prime.

I think Freiburg BitDevs is going to beat Austin BitDevs with the number of participants that showed up on the first meeting :)
I asked around and I already have two people that will very likely show up and some that said they are interested from the existing local bitcoin meetup (which isn't technical) but I am not sure if they will indeed show up.
According to @benthecarman, three people showed up at the first meeting of Austin BitDevs. @benthecarman, was that including the organizer or without?
But to be fair, it's also almost 2024 (and the start of a bull run?). So makes sense that there are at least a few more people interested in bitcoin than 2-3 years ago (?) when Austin BitDevs started. :)
(yes, I just pretended that I live in Freiburg. Or at least in the vicinity close to Freiburg? Or at least in the same country? Or at least in the same timezone? Or at least in the same hemisphere? ... lol)
