Questions I always wanted to ask (feel free to ignore if you feel unconfortable responding in public):

how do you deal with shipments?
you take donations on your site using BTCpay server, do you host it yourself? Do you ever think about setting it up to sell HiRes digital versions of your art?
Do you mind sharing here your payment processing? do you prefer onchain or lightning?
What are your biggest challenges selling art online?
Do you mind sharing your nostr NIP for DMs and zaps?

Thank you first of all for the opportunity to be able to make my paintings known here on SN.
I will answer you point by point:

I handle the shipments from an Italian site that offers me the best rates worldwide and each package is personally taken care of in every detail to be protected until the destination
yes I accept donations on my site using BTCPay which is managed by a very helpful person
no, I have never thought of selling my works digitally, and I don't know if I ever will
I have no preference of payment systems: on-chain, lightning or liquid is all fine, in fiat I prefer only via Revolut
the biggest difficulties of selling art online is that there are so many artists and emerging from complete unknown is really complicated, to this day I have no idea why for example on Nostr my art is liked so much and elsewhere it is completely ignored

but my website has all the contacts, including Nostr.

Great, just make sure you have access to your account inside the BTCpay server instance s/he is providing you. Also ask if and how you can create an online shop... if I remember good it's just a plugin

The value of your physical art will be at least 10x the price I'd like to pay for a digital copy of it. The digital copy will never be like the original one, but there's people that will love to enjoy your art for a fraction of the price. There are multiple ways to sell digital copies, a vintage site is this. You ca sell both, physical art piece, just upload hiRes images and after that you'll be also able to create digital-prints from it. Forget getting paid with BTC there, but is a great international marketplace for art.

Elsewhere... X? The world of art is a nice, every artist a subnice. You need to build your community... you get traction on nostr because there's not many artists around there, you are a bitcoiner, you are a nostrich, and this give you trust-ability within the community. Be proud of being one of the pioneers as bitcoin artist (either your art ins related with it)
