I'm visiting with relatives, and today I had a dish with a fair amount of cabbage in it.
WOW, what a lot of churning and bloating in my stomach! Before switching to mostly carnivore, I thought this distended stomach, with a lot of gas, was normal. (Hey, cabbage is really healthy, so anything that happens after you eat cabbage must not be a problem, right?)
Now that I've been doing a more carnivore diet, I realize it's not normal, it doesn't feel normal. I've gotten accustomed to the flat stomach and no-gas associated with eating very limited vegetables.
Looking forward to cooking my own food again.
