Following the 2023 Recap, I just thought it will be nice to define mission and values for the ~AGORA, because look's like isn't any more just an idea, but indeed a growing project, also thanks to your support as curious visitor, humble stacker, toxic maxi and proud hodler.

We strive to be the beacon of ethical Bitcoin commerce within the Stacker News community, fostering a marketplace built on trust, fairness, and collaboration. We aim to empower users to engage in transactions with confidence, because we want everyone to feel and be safe and fearless when trading in this territory. To reach this state, you can always keep in mind our values as: transparency, integrity, privacy, and the anonymous well-being of its stackers.

α. Transparent like pure Glass We believe in open and clear communication to enhance trust between buyers and sellers. We also build all this in public because we are always hungry to receive your previous feedback and suggestions to make this a better and safer territory for you to trade digital and physical items and services. Forecasting accurate information about products, services, and transactions is fundamental to our community.

β. Integral Fairness We are committed to fair trade practices, ensuring that all stackers have equal opportunities and are treated with equity. We encourage honest pricing and discourage any form of exploitation.

γ. Privacy + Anonymity Respecting user privacy is paramount. AGORA provides a secure space where participants can engage without compromising their personal information. Anonymity is upheld as a right, enabling users to transact without unnecessary exposure.

δ. Social Inclusivity The AGORA embraces diversity and welcomes participants from all backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. We encourage everyone to direct offers to people in your circles using your native language, before exploring the vastness of this online territory. Discrimination, hate speech, or any form of exclusionary behavior will be tolerated and ignored, indeed taken as opportunity to give the interested parties another opportunity to grow and learn.

ε. Community Empowerment We aim to empower SN community by providing a new way to trade within its space and limits, facilitating opportunities for economic growth and skill and knowledge exchange. Within the AGORA boundaries encourages users to support each other, fostering a collaborative and supportive land of growth and prosperity.

ζ. Continuous Improvement We are committed to evolving with the needs and expectations of its visitors and stackers. We do assume everything always change thanks to everyone unconscious input and conscious action. Everyone is invited to embrace the continuous feedback loop, to contribute for the continuous improvement as a shared social and personal responsibility.

η. Following Compliance In the AGORA territory, we do operates within the bounds of the Stacker News laws and expects its visitors and stackers to do the same. Any activity that violates local or international laws is strictly prohibited, s/he will be NOT penalized nor punished by the outlaw functionality, indeed will allow us all to give another opportunity to learn and grow to that specific persona without shame or resentment.

We aim to make this a place for social and sustainable business, feeling all our fellow stackers all around the world, trying to sell their items in traditional fiat online marketplaces, facing high fees and sometime extortion, unconsciously exposing themselves to titan authorities and perverse scammers. We invite you all to learn and adhere to these values, as it will help the AGORA to be a vibrant, ethical, and inclusive marketplace where all of us can engage in transactions with confidence and integrity. However, always remember to DON'T TRUST, but VERIFY.
