I call it the Stack Overflow Effect:
Post something which has a slight error in it and a lot of people will correct you and in turn give you the right solution so they can feel superior.
Post something asking for help and no one will care to help you or give you the solution.

Related, in my mind, to this post about vices becoming virtues -- someone thinks that "lightning" territory was always there and that it's one of the virtuous originals.
Who knows which other territories might become virtuous in 2024? Hmmm.
