I think the inverse of this meme needs to exist as well JS can be hot garbage and there's definitely a case for devs to migrate over to more strongly typed languages especially for server side stuff

I like how mutiny does it, use JS for the frontend, offload almost all of the math/logic operations onto the server side

I wonder where SN is on this curve because of our [crazy rewards bug](https://stacker.news/items/217122) where Javascript decided concatenating two variables as strings (that were stored in a [number type](https://mikemcl.github.io/decimal.js/)) makes more sense than adding them up like numbers.
