I have news for people. The CIA doesn't have unlimited resources and I seriously doubt they are wasting their limited human resources trailing some random pleb. This is a common mistake people make when they go down the privacy rabbit hole. Don't get me wrong. I am 100% in favor with practicing whatever level of privacy you believe is appropriate.
Now, is our data being collected and analyzed by super computers? Yeah. Most plebs are not being targeted by three letter agencies. Most of us are zero threat to the state or the agency. They have much higher priorities. That's my take at least. This person just encountered an actual homeless man that likely has a mental condition. Its a sign of the failure of the state. Not the god like power of the state.

People forget how few of them there are and how many of us there are.

Also plebs have been so saturated with the propaganda that the State has deity level powers that even though they say they believe governments are incompetent they seem to believe some of the story.
It is true that the State has vast resources that dwarf those of any one individual. However, there are limits. There are people they can't touch. Also, they ignore most people. They don't need to put a dude on every person. If you stop and think for a moment this idea is absurd. Most people are zero threat and not that interesting.
We will win. The state will eventually fall under the weight of its own incompetence.

Don't be low hanging fruit and they leave you alone. Show them who's boss.

Yeah. Also pick your battles and live to fight another day.

I agree that we should all become extremely conscious of our privacy, but am I missing something? How do you know you're being followed by the CIA? This doesn't say anything about that - just that you're paranoid.
reply
I was recently followed by a homeless looking man from bus stop. Never seen this guy before. The he stood for ~2 mins in front of our apartment block. After that, he left. Never seen him again. Encounters like that are more and more frequent for me.
They are after me. nah.
You live in a city/state/country that is failing its productive citizens. Its time for Atlas' Shrug.

Reduce Twitter and YouTube consumption to zero, and your situation will probably improve drastically. I'm SN and nostr only these days and highly recommend it. It's just better for mind body and soul stay off those platforms.

Reduce Twitter and YouTube consumption to zero
Agree, but - serious question - is it actually practically possible?
Even on SN, those services are frequently linked to. Often via nitter, invidious, etc. But isn't using those still consumption?
reply
I differentiate between 'consumption ' and 'use' of these utilities.
Use is utilizing them to a productive end.
Consumption is when it's a feed bag stuck on my face like a monster
reply
Agree. It's the algorithm/doomscrolling that's the problem. I will follow the occasional Twitter link but I no longer have an account so It doesn't suck me in.

Like the others I think you are too paranoid, however I would like to highlight great resources on your website: https://sovereignoutcomes.com/books-and-guides
I didn't know about the books published by Braiins. I just downloaded and was reading a bit about mining, solar power and economics and I think their book is very good. So for everyone thinking he is too paranoid I think so as well, but my takeaway is he has also good reading suggestions on the same website.

Why is it that Bitcoin attracts so many unserious paranoid people?
I'm a Bitcoiner through and through. Full maxi if you want to say so. I dislike being associated with unserious people like that. Because for me this is very much a serious topic.

Stay dangerous, watch out for paranoia.

Met a girl once who was haunted in the darkness of winter by agents hiding behind the heaps of snow as she hurried down the street. Minds play tricks.
