I don't really care much about the specific topic (price predictions) but I am so tired of bullshit artists, in this space and elsewhere, making predictions and facing no loss of face for being terminally wrong nearly 100% of the time.

If their predictions are worth a shit, they can take advantage of them, one way or the other, and become stupidly rich. If they are not stupidly rich on the basis of their predictions (e.g., not for some other reason) then that tells you all you should need to know.
