The ancient Olive Tree of Vouves is a tree that is approximately 2,900 years old. Situated in a cemetery on the island of Crete, Greece, it lived during Homer's writing of the Iliad, the golden age of Athens, the rise of the Roman Empire and the birth of Christ. It still produces olives.
