I agree with both of you but I think team sports are good too. Martial arts and one team sports seems like the right mix to me.
If it was martial arts vs team sports, I might choose team sports. However, martial arts vs. any particular team sport goes the other way for me. There are just too many valuable skills and lessons that are unique to martial arts training.

Our daughter just had her first dance class today, btw. It was super cute.
Awesome. My daughter has her first dance showcase next month for her tap and jazz class. I am not the biggest fan of the Dance Moms (and Dads) crowd but my daughter loves it so I just take her to class and bring my headphones and walk around outside listening to a podcast or music so I don't have to talk to the other parents. Haha.

Did you catch the Raptors highlights last night? They lost but came back from down 23 on the road against a good team (Kings). Kings shot 55% from 3, seemed like they couldn't miss. Don't know how many times teams will shoot 55% off you in a season.
Sabonis and Fox are awesome but I was pretty happy with the Raps performance.
