Competition is always good, more competition in telecoms will improve quality and reduce prices for end users.

They aren't competing to provide cell service 🤦‍♂️
You love fiat. You must think Keynesianism means more competition
reply
What it has to do with fiat? I as a customer want cheaper and better service. Competition leds to it. Monopolies, like in a lot of cities in West, where you have less than 10 ISPs competiting for whole city, leds to bad and expensive service. Know that firsthand, was building network for small ISP in Riga back in a day. And, btw, I don't use Starlink and don't plan to currently. Apart from onboard WiFi on airBaltic planes when they will finally do it. But my brother has it at his house, it provides better Internet speeds than mobile broadband, which is his only alternative there.

Enjoy your fiat competition. Your post wasn't even about broadband, but phones
reply
It's about Starlink. Starlink currently competes with mobile broadband. In future will also compete for phone calls and messages.
And I don't get what you are trying to say. That new competition is bad and we need monopolies?

You are extremely retarded, tech illiterate, and highly gullible. You are a pretty dumb person all around as you continue saying competition. The rest is pretty dumb too, but this is stupidity in depth. You are too retarded to even properly elicit a specific dunking on the matter.
You are the sort of person who easily could have been taken in by someone like Vitalik. 9 times out of 10, that's how things would go for you. Count your blessings, you're one of the luckiest sonofabitches to have tripped their way into the right answer.

Tech illiterate? I was actually building and administering whole network for a small ISP some 15-20 years ago.
Bye troll!

bye arrogant software/IT guy who thinks he knows everything yet doesn't even know what link budget is and can't do basic physics/energy calcs to see why FWA is destroying Starlink and will continue to do so
