The Indiana Pacers have acquired All-Star forward Pascal Siakam in a three-team deal that sends Bruce Brown, Jordan Nwora and three first-round picks to the Toronto Raptors, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Wednesday.
The New Orleans Pelicans are the third team in the deal, sending Kira Lewis Jr. to the Raptors and a second-round pick to the Pacers, sources told ESPN.
Two of the first-round picks going to the Raptors are for 2024 -- Indiana's own selection and the lesser of a Utah/Houston/LA Clippers/Oklahoma City pick -- while the third is for 2026 (from Indiana), sources said.
Pacers keeping its core and using picks to get Siakam. They want to win now with Haliburton and the current core.
Raps entering full rebuild mode.
The one day I step away to run some errands. I miss everything.

Have I forgotten how to read or are the Pelicans just sending stuff out?

Typo in the ESPN article I think. As per Woj, the 2nd round pick is from Pacers to Pels

What a haul! Pacers are gonna be trouble in the east though.

Indeed! With added wing defense and also additional offense from Siakam, Pacers will definitely stir things up. Let's see how they play together. My guess is Siakam will fit right in, because Haliburton has such good vision and high basketball IQ. I also think that Siakam will feel very comfortable being the second option, as he never seemed to play well being "the man". Maybe he couldn't handle the pressure of driving the bus and performs much better when he is not in the spotlight.

Thanks, I reread that a bunch of times and clicked through to the article. I thought maybe they just really hated Kira Lewis.
