That Strickland interview in Canada was really something.
Yeah that was wild. He is a bit much for me but he speaks his mind. I will give him that.

I didn't love what he said or how he said it, but somehow I love that he said it.

Agreed. I don't like what he was saying but glad he felt free to say it and honestly we have a similar problem with "journalists" here in Canada who are more interested in being leftist activists (even the sports journalists) and playing gotcha journalism than actually reporting unbiasedly so I don't mind him going after the guy. I just wish he didn't come across as a bigoted bully doing it.

It was very funny to me watching the "journalists" just have no idea what to do with someone who doesn't cower before all the tired leftist accusations (even if they apply in this case).
Blank out, as Ayn Rand would say.
It was sort of an alpha bully vs beta bully display.

I thought about going to ufc tomorrow night but the ticket prices are insane. One of my best buds is big into MMA. He and I have been friends since we were little kids and played baseball together for years when we were young. He is a purple belt in BJJ and competes in small regional tournaments for fun. He is also a middle aged, public company CFO. He goes to the office with black eyes and messed up ears. It's awesome. PoW and all.
He wanted to go but when we saw the ticket prices we were both like "maybe not" and then when the card was announced he said "this is not a good card" so no point in wasting money that could be better spent on Bitcoin on overpriced tickets for a bad card.

Buy bitcoin today so you can see 10 UFC events later.

I probably still wouldn't go. I can't justify paying $500 to see a sporting event. My wife wanted to get me Blue Jays tickets for Christmas and I was even balking at $110. "We used to pay $45 to sit in this section".
It's odd because $100 to see some random regular season game seems crazy to me but I would happily pay 1k to see the Blue Jays in a world series home game.
Same buddy of mine went to game 2 of NBA Finals in 2019 when the Raps played the Warriors. I believe he paid 2k.
