Here's a cracking track I hope you'll all enjoy. This is Hunter Hayes with "Where It All Begins" featuring Lady Antebellum. Top country / pop / rock track. I found this live version which is fantastic.

Nice performance, easy listening, feel good song, nice!

That's chill, can just bang that on in the background and enjoy it whilst doing something. Really easy listening. Follows that normal country/pop formula, which is a tried and tested proven success. Great submission thanks for recommending it!

Thks for discovering me some unknown tunes/bands from my playlist....
When you enter into music, it s a bottomless hole, especially thks to Internet vs tapes/shop/cd that was limited
Yesterday was a party night with some of my friends...so I'm a "little bit" tired right now...
But it is always a pleasure to listen this piece, and right now it is "compatible" with my "state of mind" :)
The track is on Hungarian, the title traduced in English is "The night can never end" ;)

More Hungarian stuff!! I am loving the appearances of music from places like Hungary. Such a beautiful place aswell. Budapest might be my favourite European city. It's just amazing.
reply
Yes, you're right. Budapest it is a beautiful city. Crosses the Danube, it a very important historical and cultural node in the Middle-East Europe. And at the same time it is most liked by tourists in the past few years because a lot of festivals and sport events organised.
Btw... I don't live in Hungary
I live in Romania (I was born here too), but I'm Hungarian. In Romania the Hungarians are the biggest minority

I always wanted to go to Romania aswell , Corbin's castle looks really cool. And the Carpathian mountains look incredible I'd love to be able to get out there and hike some mountains. My wife and I went to Budapest just after Christmas, and it was beautiful, it had the addition of being really frosty and foggy in the mornings and evenings, so it was really atmospheric. the architecture on the parliament building is stunning aswell.

It's game day for me which means: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_HSa1dEL9s

Get it today πŸ’ͺ what games you watching tonight?
reply
I will be watching both games. My wife is at work so I might be a bit distracted doing stuff with my daughter for the Texans/Ravens game but I will have it on and be keeping an eye on it. As for the 49ers game. I will be watching closely and not posting on SN. Unless of course the game is a blowout either way. Then I might need to gloat or cry on SN.
reply
The ravens really said "we've had enough of this Texans hype" but god damn! 9ers only just escaped green bay. Deebo getting hurt seems par for the course at this point in the season.
reply
The way Deebo plays he is always going to get banged up. Hopefully he is healthy for next week. If not they can scheme his run plays to McCloud and his pass plays to Jennings/McCloud but it is very tough for Shanahan when Deebo goes down in game because he has a bunch of plays he wants to run for Deebo or using Deebo as a decoy. Especially in a game like yesterday where the weather limited a lot of the down field stuff and you lose part of your run/short pass/yac game.

He just throws his body on the line. But the difference between the team with him and without him is night and day.

Sounds great raw like that. Live and unedited.

I wish the Last.FM scrobbler plugin for Foobar still worked. I'd be able to keep better track of my most listened to artists/bands, songs, and albums.

A melancholy one from me today. I was going to post this yesterday but then I realised it was "Feel Good Friday", so I had to find a feel good song instead πŸ•ΊπŸ’ƒπŸ₯³ Truth is, was a rainy day 🌧️ yesterday where I am and pretty grotty all day (weather-wise that is).
So I searched for songs that mentioned rain for inspiration. I settled on one of my favourite songs - Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain. Written by Fred Rose, it was covered by many artists, probably most famously by Willie Nelson. Here is the Wiki page if you're interested.
Not being a huge fan of Willie, I settled on this beautiful rendition by Eva Cassidy. Hope you enjoy it
reply
That's beautiful.
Evas got a gorgeous voice.
Using terms like "grotty" Im gunna have to assume you're a fellow Brit. Don't you think they should change "England's green and pleasant land" to "England's grey and damp land"? 🀣 It's been grey and horrible where I am for what feels like weeks now.

I grew up there. I'm not there now and can't ever go back for that reason πŸ˜‚β˜οΈπŸŒ§οΈβ„οΈπŸŒ¨οΈπŸŒ¬οΈπŸ₯Ά I lived somewhere in the UK once and the grey would come in Oct and stay for about 6 months πŸ˜‚

Feels like it's been that long honestly. I don't think I've seen the sun since September 🀣

Sounds like as good a place as any to ask the burning question in my mind:
What do you parents out there sing to your babies and toddlers to make them fall asleep?
I’m of Chinese descent, so I sing sappy depressing love songs because the Chinese music scene dissects mainly love and all its perplexities haha
reply
My kids are all grown up now, so it's a while since I sung lullabies to them. We have been very big on music in our family, so it's been a big part of our family life. I will have to mull that one over, see what comes up from the memories and come back to you.
reply
It’s okay. I love asking questions. I have another one: who are your favourite artists and have your children inherited your love of them? Is it important to you that they do?
reply
I've not got kids so I don't tend to sing to any 🀣. I'm really interested to see how many different cultures do this.
For the UK, I've mostly heard parents singing "rock a-by baby, on the tree tops" but I can't say I've got any experience singing lullaby's to kids to help them sleep.
reply
Indeed, it’s a common English lullaby

Songhoy Blues is a desert blues music group from Timbuktu, Mali.
Tishoumaren (β΅œβ΅‰β΅›β΅“β΅Žβ΄°β΅”β΄»β΅ in Neo-Tifinagh script) or assouf, internationally known as desert blues, is a style of music from the Sahara region of northern and west Africa. Critics describe the music as a fusion of blues and rock music with Tuareg, Malian or North African music.
reply
That guitarist is absolutely killing it! Sounds great.
Looks like I got desert blues to explore more of, really cool fusion of rock/blues. Cheers for the recommendation πŸ‘Š
