We are in the age of scoring in the NBA. Defense might win in the playoffs but you better be able to score to get there.
In the past week we had 4 different players score over 60 points in a game. Two of which scored over 70. Including Luka Doncic's 73 point performance last night. I don't think Wilt Chamberlain's NBA record of 100 points in a single game is in jeopardy but he also had a 78 point game and Kobe Bryant had an 81 point game.
Will someone surpass either of those marks this year?

Doing it with 25/33 field goals, or 75.8% efficiency, too. Mind blowing. With the way teams are playing defense (or actually not playing defense) nowadays, and the way some of these superstars are scoring, I think 100 in a game is definitely possible.

What do you think about the Clippers? They laid a whopping on the Celtics in Boston on a back to back. They are playing some good ball. I just don’t trust all those guys to stay healthy.

To be fair, Porzingis was hurt and wasn't playing. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if the Clippers still manage to whop the Celtics' ass even with Porzingis playing.
The Celtics look so dangerous. They've got great perimeter and wing defense. Kawhi, PG, Westbrook, are all athletic defenders that has the ability to shut down their opponents. Hell, even Harden is playing defense now.
And their offense is just firing on all cylinders ever since Westbrook started coming off the bench. It seems they only needed some time to figure it out when Harden first joined, and man, figure it out they did! Kawhi is healthy and balling; everyone else on the team is also playing well, both starters and the bench.
The 100 point single player scoring will most probably not come from the Clippers. But if you look at their stat sheets, a lot of their games have at least 5 or 6 guys in double digit scoring. That's the sign of a good team with everyone getting involved.
If the Clippers continue to play this way, I wouldn't be surprised if the western conference finals is between them and the Nuggets, provided they don't run into one another in earlier rounds.
Hopefully they can all stay healthy. Who knows? It might finally be the Clipper's year this year.

When Anthony Edwards is on fire I hear people giving MJ comparisons (but that could just be media hype).
But when he's not on form... Well... That's less good. I don't know if I see him scoring 100 in a single game though.

Guys...I need to share my today's story (rather a surprise)... It is just partially about sport :)
4 years ago I got a book as Christmas gift from my wife. The title of the book is "Az Aranycsapat története", is a Hungarian book about the legendary Hungarian football team from the 50's years. I had a very busy period then, and I had no time to read the book, just the summary. Some weeks (maybe months) after, in a "meeting" with some friends I talked about the book, and one of my friend asked me to lend it to him until he reads it. I agreed, and some days later I gave it to him. Weeks, months passed, and he did not return it, and I forgot. Last year when I arranged my bookshelf, I remembered the book, but I not found, and I had no ideea where it is... I was sad, and angry, because the "total supply" of this book was only 5000, and it was not available at the moment.
But today....my phone rang, my friend called me...when I replied, he told me that he is very ashamed of himself, but today he found it my book in his parents home. I told him it is no problem, and no hard feelings, but...when he can return to me the book...he replied: today, if you are at home, i can go now.
The book finally goes home. I received it. And I'm very very happy!
So...I will "re-design" my next week reading field ;)
