Well, I wasn’t going to bring up the details.
And Berlin does that…. I once lost 3-days in Kreuzberg and had one hell of a hangover at the end of it. I blame the kebabs.
Why don’t you see if there is a beginners / tasters course for a few weeks at a local dojo? Then the challenge is just to complete the course (initially obviously).

lol, yeah, the kebabs are out to get you there

There is but I'm not sure if it's a course. They have dedicated times for beginners though. I guess it's just about showing up consistently initially. I think if I show up at least twice per week, it's good. I still want to have time for other sports like swimming or bouldering :)
And I want to try to keep this up at least for 6 weeks. After 6 weeks, I should be hooked and don't want to stop anymore anyway. But I think the best approach is just to say "I will go at least one more time" :)
Btw, I really like this approach of giving me options but every option is actually basically the same thing lol

Options can be counterproductive to the human mind though…
I think make you target for time - 2x per week for 6-weeks say.
But as with anything we should look to the old school values encapsulated by BTC. Slow and consistent ahead of fast and flashy fiat BS.
