I think it would be really cool if we compared the prices of some common goods after converting from your local fiat to satoshis. You don't have to add the country but if you don't mind/care that makes the info a bit more useful.
I'll go first!
South Africa:
1lt Milk ~ 3800 sats
6 eggs ~ 7600 sats

Because you win more maybe 🤷🏻

Looks like We need a Unit KiloSat -
1 litre milk - 3.8 kilosat 6 eggs - 7.6 kilosat
Spain 6 eggs - 3000 sats 1 liter milk - 2400 sats.
Hmmmm, is there anything with sat parity? Is there something you can buy for $1 that has ~2330 things inside? I'd say a bag of rice might have sat parity. A cup of rice has about 2500 grains, but that would cost less than a dollar, yes?
The Argentinian pesos is worth about 3 sats according to https://www.pricedinbitcoin21.com It might be a sat parity if they're not careful. Hopefully with Milei in charge.
As of (12/15/23)
1l Milk - 2585 sats 12 eggs - 7325 sats Filet Steak per kg - 86000 sats
Taiwan 10 eggs 7500 sats
Switzerland 1l Milk 5 385 sats 6 eggs 14 385 sats 1kg Beef Steak 89 137 sats
Do you guys have an inexpensive source of meat/protein?
Good question! In fact the “expensiveness” is relative to the salary. In some places it’s illegal to work for less than 20$/hour But I would say chicken and some type of legumes (like beans) are less expensive
Peru - BTC price: 43095$ 1 kg Steak meat 19445 sats 8 eggs 3643 sats 1 kg rice 2436 sats
I bought some rib-eye yesterday (UK) and it was about 100,000 sats/kg Eggs around 6000, 2l milk 4000.
Damn I would be upset if I had to pay that much for beef
It was the good stuff, not from the supermarket.
Ah, that helps

Great source to see things priced in sats
Just checked what the Flirting with Bitcoin podcast used and it was this site.
I’m using the price now if $103,860
One beer $8 =7,722 Hotdog $5=4,826 Price in Chicago
That's about 3x the price of a beer where I am in South Africa.
Hotdog maybe 2x
That’s the price of a hotdog in the suburb by me. My brother lives in the city probably almost $10 about 10k sats for one hotdog
Well that's supply and demand for you I guess
That means I can afford roughly 2 eggs right now.
