Liquidium is the leading platform enabling peer-to-peer Bitcoin lending. Users can borrow or lend Bitcoin, using unique Bitcoin-based assets called Ordinal Inscriptions (Ordinals) as collateral. This is facilitated securely through Partially Signed Bitcoin Transactions (PSBTs) and Discreet Log Contracts (DLCs) all on Layer-1 Bitcoin.
Job Description
We're looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Bitcoin Developer to be part of our team. This person should have a strong background in Bitcoin protocol development and be excited about using blockchain technology to develop new financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize complex Tapscript scripts for diverse applications.
- Create, deploy, and manage intricate Discreet Log Contracts (DLCs).
- Implement and ensure security best practices in all development stages.
- Contribute to the optimization of Bitcoin network interactions and node communications.
- Conduct in-depth security audits and code reviews.
- Collaborate with our team to innovate and develop new features for our platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of the Bitcoin protocol, including transaction validation and block structure.
- Expertise in Tapscript and advanced scripting languages (Python, Rust, C++).
- Proficient in DLCs, including oracle management.
- Deep understanding of Schnorr signatures (BIP340, BIP341, BIP322).
- Experience with Bitcoin development libraries and tools.
- Strong foundation in cryptography and security practices.
- Proven track record in software engineering and analytical problem-solving.
- Experience in smart contract development and testing on the Bitcoin blockchain.
- Significant contributions to open-source Bitcoin projects are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of financial markets and instruments in the context of Bitcoin.
