Of course I posted about Spring yesterday and this happened.
Go figure, but I had a very nice walk in the winter wonderland.
Shout out to @BlokchainB for running a very cool impromptu contest yesterday that @hodlpleb won. If you have ever checked the top stacker stats you will notice that Blok is pretty much the most generous stacker around. I was thinking that if SN had an NFL style awards that Blok would be a good candidate for Walter Payton Man of the Year and of course now I want to do an SN NFL style awards.
NBA All star game this weekend. I always enjoy the 3pt and dunk contest even though they aren't what they used to be. For the dunk contest, all I ask is please stop jumping over dudes to dunk. We get it, you can jump high. Unless they are jumping over Wemby, I don't want to see any jumping over guys dunks.
Also happening this weekend is UFC 298. Join the pick 'em here #426400. Only a couple entries so far, so you have a good chance at victory.
I finally closed the book on the NFL season yesterday, which was a good but bittersweet one with the way it ended, and switched over from NFL Network to MLB Network in my tv package. A lot of talk about these new MLB jerseys. They do look kinda cheap.

My subs are working!
I just saw the news that Jimmy G got suspended for taking PED's. That's pretty sad.
What? They clearly didn't help. He was awful this year.
I'm guessing he was taking them to avoid slipping our of the league entirely. I hope we get some cap relief for that suspension.
2 games is pretty light for PEDs. I know they only play 17 so everything is relative but that's about 1/3 of what you would get in MLB.
Maybe the league also feels sorry for him.
I am pleased subs are working now. I saw your post today, pub's two posts and siggy's post. I wasn't getting any before.
Curry is also having a head to head 3pt contest with Sabrina Ionescu. Good exposure for the WNBA and should be fun to watch. I saw some of her highlights on YouTube, she is a legit shooter. I think it's happening Saturday right after the regular 3pt contest.
Maybe McClung will do that this year?
What happened to the MLB jerseys?
MLB has switched to Nike/Fanatics jerseys and they kind of look like replica jerseys.

Ah I've heard people complain about them with hockey jerseys before so I guess that makes sense...sucks that they're making all the jerseys now
