Howdy Stackers!
Here today to introduce the NEW WILD WEST POSTERS, an initiative inspired by the amazing and amusing visual explorations made by @Scoresby.
Together with @Design_r, we craft this Open Design Challenge for anyone interested in participating to learn more about Bitcoin, explore Western Movies borders, the correlation between these two, and get an opportunity to practice in the field of Graphic Design.
Why Western Movies?
Because Stacker.News came out from that lawlessness ran rampant and cowboys ruled land of Texas, it gives the platform a nice funny taste. There are so many correlations with Bitcoin; that vast land of gold rush memories, enhanced by rational thinking and the use of most modern technologies to mine as much out as was technically possible. Like those, the Old Wild West share many other values with the Bitcoin Universe: individualism, capitalism, rationalism, the rule of the Natural Law, and ethical decision-making based on individual rights and autonomy, which emphasizes the importance of personal responsibility and accountability.
All this was enough to motivate us to bring this project out to light. We do it mostly for fun, and we hope that the community will somehow benefit from the efforts of all creatives minds participating on this custom Open Design Challenge:
Western Movie poster turned into Bitcoin Ads
The challenge requires any participant to turn any existing Western Movie Poster of choice into a Bitcoin-Ad with the aim to highlight and use some features of the protocol itself, the Lightning Network, eCash or any related concept and material as propaganda to onboard newbies and normies into the fascinating Bitcoin rabbit hole.

What? Rewards? Sats?
When the poster is providing value to the community, the participant submitting a poster will be rewarded in sats (or satoshis), the smallest denomination of each Bitcoin recorded on the bitcoin b̶l̶o̶c̶k̶c̶h̶a̶i̶n̶ block chain. This is possible only thanks to SN functionality to zap specific comments.
For transparency, you’ll find the related credits of the Designer on each poster page on this site, so if you like you can reward directly, with no intermediaries.
