Designing Journey Maps for a Flight deals Website

Scenario

You were hired as a freelancer to do some user research and design for a bitcoin airline flight deals website (competitors are AlternativeAirlines, Travala, Destinia and CheapAir). As part of the design process, you need to dive into the user experience of finding and securing the best offer flight paying with bitcoin. You'll be looking for pain points, opportunities, and touch points.

Task

Create a journey map for the process of buying an airline flight through a deals app with bitcoin. You'll want to use other research methods such as user interviews or your diary studies to gather data. Then you'll craft a journey map to show publicly what you've found.
Extra Credit: Analyze the map you've made and give two to three specific design recommendations based on the findings.

@alinaatayyab thank you and your team for this first contribution, it's so complete that it probably needed a full post! Great work 💪
I'm a bit unsure about the first reccomendation, I personally do not like KYC much and it is a responsability of teh user to place the correct information as displayed in the ID otherwise there's a risk the booking will be nulled. So my question for you is: how we can we ensure smooth reservation without the need to provide a full KYC verification? would full name, DOB and ID number enough for the booking company to confirm the flight?
