In the past few days, I've seen a narrative emerge that this Bitcoin cycle will be led by ETFs and second-layer solutions. I'm not sure if that's the case, but it got me thinking about how conversions between layers are done, and that's when I came across the concept of atomic swaps. A concept I had never heard of before. Do atomic swaps on Bitcoin have a positive impact on the ecosystem?
I did some research online to learn more, but I only found information about atomic swaps on altcoins. I must be really bad at googling. So I decided to ask this question to the Stackers. What are atomic swaps in Bitcoin? If someone could point me to a good source of information, I would be grateful.

There's no harm in asking. Thanks. At a quick glance, they seem to be good sources of information. I've already bookmarked them to read more carefully. I like the name of the concept "submarine swap" :)
