Snowrunner has been a recent favorite for me! It's a game about driving very slowly and hauling oversided loads through mud and snow. Lots of fun, but it can be frustrating at times too!

Scum. I like to play it a few times a week. It’s a very fun game that takes time to learn. You’re a prisoner dropped on an island with zombies (puppets aka reanimated players), mechs, drones and animals. It has vehicles like bikes, cars and planes. It’s brutal but rewarding when you level up, craft things and escape from tight situations it’s so satisfying. It’s on Steam and has an active community. “Luthias” on YouTube as so many great videos that has walkthroughs, tutorials and livestreams.

Why dont they organise the backplate more? Even after all these years they are kind of a mess

This one the back of a current generation gaming motherboard.

They just put the connectors close to where the chips are on the MB. There's definitely couple now useless connectors on the Gigabyte MB...

Anyone hyped about Black Myth Wukong? As a big Journey to the West fan ever since I was a kid, I'm super excited about this game. Ever since I saw the announcement trailer back in 2020, I had been waiting eagerly for this game to drop. It is finally being released in August this year. I've already preordered the game on Steam and cannot wait until the release date to play it right away.

I will play Final Fantasy VII rebirth this weekend :)

This week I'm going to be playing Pokemon crystal thanks to a friend's recommendation

The most recent one was Final Fantasy 12 a few weeks ago, I'm a fan of Square enix games and I never had the chance to play it until a friend lent it to me.

That friend is very generous

I'm trying to choose about which one to play next between Chrono Trigger and the Mana series (Starting from the Sword of Mana).
I've never played either of them, which one do you recommend?
reply
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
And Mario Wonder
Both amazing games, may be only for Nintendo Fans?

I love city building and strategy games online, but I have to stay away from them, cause I get addicted and don't get any work done 😆
reply
Then what about offline-ish stuff like OpenTTD? 😊
reply
not sure what that is, but same concept. I sold my PS2 with a lot really good games, because I didn't have time for it 😔
really loved playing. just handling adult business, being a man comes 1st

Has anyone played sports games on the Nintendo Switch?
I usually play sports games on ps4 but my kids got a switch for Christmas and I like the idea of it being portable so I don't have to sit in front of the TV and play.
Was thinking about getting MLB the show 24 but didn't know if I should get it for the Switch or PS4.
If you have experience playing sports games on switch let me know how it compares to other consoles.
Thanks, GR

Following up on Mary's comment, I posted a long write-up of all the various THNDR Games options (all of which are on Android), including how they pay out as well as which games are the most fun (for me).
reply
Well, I don’t know about the best but here are a list of nice bitcoin games. If you’re looking for hyper casual games, I would suggest all the games by THNDR Games

I would love to play some Rocket League again but Epic Games killed it on Linux ...
I think I have to buy a M.2 SSD just for gaming on Windows.

Sons of the Forest, first game in a while that hooked me!

I haven't been playing much recently, but I was playing some XCOM2 on my Steam Deck earlier in the week.
reply
I love XCOM! haven't played it n a long while. the board game chases you!
reply
They're great games! I've never played the board game, but I've spent a huge number of hours on the modern PC games.
reply
I also plazed th old ones and I loved how lcose the new ones are to the old ones in style and mechanics. only that the psychic attacks are way less frustrating in the modern versions, in the old one it was always invisible damage form nowhere... try the board game! it's not a turn based compat game, it's more a hectic resource management one. but it's great, you lose a LOT.
reply
I've never actually finished any of the older ones, but I have played them! They were definitely a bit harder than the modern ones, at least for me.
I may have to try the board game, is it completely tied to the app?
reply
yes, the app chases you through the game, gives you countdowns to place resources and places UFOs
