I think Lightning could solve some of the problems that Ads were solving implicitly (enabling people to pay across countries and different payment systems), and bring these sats back to the people who created the content rather than Ads platforms. This would also be much better for privacy because you can pay with LN without revealing anything while Google/Facebook track everything about you (it’s part of the price!)
