What's your take on dannydeezy's reply?
0xbitcoiner Some people, such as Giacomo Zucco, argue that it is impossible to classify individual satoshis. What can you tell us about the possibility of identifying individual satoshis?
dannydeezy
Ordinals are an entirely opt-in system that you can safely choose to ignore. Bitcoin Core has no concept of individual sats and never will. Kind of like 1 oz of gold will always equal 1 oz of gold, and nobody can tell you otherwise.
However, for those who like the idea of ordinals, ordinals introduce a numbering and tracking system for satoshis, which you can choose to subscribe to or not. What we have seen is some people like this system and choose to value certain sats higher than others, and an ecosystem has developed around this concept, similar to how an ecosystem exists around rare gold coin collecting. The 1oz=1oz maxis can always just melt down a rare gold coin to its gold value, but you may find that some people would pay you more than 1oz for your particular gold coin

why? it seems quite fishy to me if a post just with a link and many sats yet without any comments.
reply

why?
Because if link posts get more ignored than discussion posts, then I would think that the same sat amount on link posts is a higher signal. But not sure, also don't know if that's how I react. Was only wondering.

Do you trust the current educational system? I have controversies about it and when I give my point of view about it, people usually look at me like I'm crazy. My opinion: The system only wants submissive people, without the ability to question, dependent people and without freedom. The educational system in the country where I live causes me indignation, it is so sad to see how children go so apathetic to schools, where they will only spend 6 hours locked in 4 white walls listening to a lady speak, where they only have a short period of recreation, a place where they cannot give their ideas or express themselves because for them it means that they are insolent even if they are doing it in a respectful way. I know I can't force time, but I can't wait for my daughter to no longer attend that type of "education", which for the moment and due to certain circumstances I had to enroll her in one of those schools. She is on the afternoon shift (not by my decision) After school, we arrived home at night and when it was time to sleep she told me with resignation "Now every day will be like this, arriving at night, have dinner and sleep... and thus repeat the same thing from Monday to Friday". With her words I feel like they shook my head, and the thing is that one of the things I hate the most are monotonous and boring routines, those that take away your motivation and the desire to wake up every day. I promised her that it is only temporary, that my plans for her method of education are different, one in which she can be herself, one in which she feels comfortable, one in which she learns to give her opinion without fear, one in which May you be free and learn important things that truly serve you in life.
reply
I do.
It teaches basic skills like reading and writing. Once you get the basics down and you build a good morale and values system then how you learn is mostly irrelevant. The system doesn’t want only submissive people the system is trying to keep the populous from becoming too dumb.
Posts like this reminds me of this posh fantasy life that people get to pursue their passions and if you love what you do you will never work a day in your life. So okay if you play that out who is left to do the “dirty” jobs. Or the work that has to get done. Like being a farmer.
This quote here:
"Now every day will be like this, arriving at night, have dinner and sleep... and thus repeat the same thing from Monday to Friday“
This is exactly what life is as a farmer! Barely anytime to do anything. You wake you work hard eat and go to sleep.
Sometimes you have to do things you don’t want to do. The sooner you realize that the better off you will be.
reply
Do you trust the current educational system?
No, and I don't want my future kids to go through what I've been through, those school times are nothing but a waste of time, even torturing for any curious person; I'd be much happier sending them to hangout with different makers, and then they pick whatever they want to learn.
The goal of education is to learn how to solve problems and then provide value for others, and that is exactly what the schools fail to teach, they want to train you to be consumers and workers instead of creative makers.

Went to take a natural dyes course last week and also got the play around a bit with weaving at the end. 👀 One of the takeaways from it is one can visually learn anything they want - with the right information, time, and patience.
But there many dark forces need to be fought with
a. Information censorship, from library burning throughout history to internet censorship to suppress the knowledge passing down.
b. Greedy people come up with different solutions yet without solving the root cause and keep draining people's time and energy - I realized that many problems can be solved with simple things, directly from nature instead of from labs or shopping malls.
c. Entertainment is everywhere to distract you from solving the problem yourself, so you need to depend on others, and that leads to misery.
But the good news is some of these knowledge is still here, living within the old generations and spreading in the hidden corners.
got a world of possibilities to explore!

I love to keep exploring these old lands, it feels like they have done many POWs in the past so that they accumulated all the techniques to MAKE things with bare hands and simple tools, so simple and everybody could learn and make things themselves.
But then the Industrial Revolution happened, and it started destroying the traditions in the name of productivity, people went to schools to be educated to be consumers and workers instead of creative makers.

randomly walked into this cafe, it was the old furniture caught my eye at first, and then I ordered a few cookies to try; one of them was called leblebi cookies - Leblebi is roasted chickpeas, and they're amazing even as a snack, healthy and delicious. But I didn't know you could make cookies with its flour, and OMG, that was like the most delicious cookies I've tasted!
Then I started talking to the owner to show my appreciation, and it turned out that he used to work in the military and then he went to learn about baking a few years ago because he loves cooking, and now he runs this small cafe in which he crafts every detail possible, from the painting ( he did those himself ) to utensils—it's easy to have a nice design these days ( the majority are soulless tho ), but unique, amazing food and interesting stories are so HARD to come by.
Stories like that add extra flavor to the food, and talking with people who love doing their work really energizes me, you can even see the sparkings in their eyes. ✨
