But it doesn't necessarily work the other way around. If they aren't ready, nothing you say or do will likely change that.

What you can do is to focus some effort on gaining a further understanding of not just bitcoin as an investment or payment method, but a greater understanding of the concept of money and its history, the concepts of why bitcoin has no equal (e.g., Byzantine General's problem, network effect, scaling layers, etc.)
