I gotcha. Well from a simple pleb's perspective, it's a bit like venturing out west on the Oregon Trail only there is very little risk of life threatening injuries. Bring with you 1.) an open mind 2.) verify, never trust 3.) Assume everyone is a scammer.
With those tools, you can make this experience whatever you want it to be. You can curate whatever you want. You can mute and ignore whatever you want. The Nostr protocol is the antithesis of the new norm, which is manipulate and mislead the consumer into what WE want you to think.
I'm hearing Nostr will replace email. Would be nice, but we will see. I think it can happen, just a matter of user adoption picking up enough for it TO happen.
It will obsolete legacy social media, as well as mainstream media (as in where you get your news from). I'm already sold on this, more of an if not when at this point.
As far as approach on how to execute things, the individuals really have all the power. Devs are individuals here, as well as users.
Not sure if this is helpful or what you were looking for, but it's a start. :)
It is helpful! Thanks :)
Surely, it remains to build and improve :). In my humble opinion it seems like it needs lots more work to be done to make it more user friendly so user adoption becomes less of an issue. I came a week ago and this whole concept and possibilites sparkled huge interest in me to create and see where it can go.
